In fact, he gave up a career as a stockbroker on Wall Street to pursue his obsession with flowers when he launched his floral design business, DeJuan Stroud Inc., in 1996. But even he knows that today’s event designers have to be more than fabulous florists to stand out in the highly competitive event industry. They have to design immersive, visually creative, and elegantly opulent environments that shape an experience into a once in a lifetime memory.
